A trading platform that would not pay out

Deposits by card and bank transfer, converted into USDT, with a "tax" requested before withdrawal.

Illustrative example

Situation

An individual invests through an online platform recommended by a contact met on social media. The dashboard shows strong gains. When the client asks to withdraw, the platform demands an advance "tax" and then stops responding.

What we do

  1. Chronology built from bank statements, card records and chats
  2. Verification that the platform is not authorised, using regulators' warning lists
  3. Tracing of the USDT deposits on TRON from the client's exchange account to the receiving addresses
  4. Technical report annexed to the criminal complaint

What the analysis can show

The path of the funds across addresses, the point where they reached a large centralised exchange, and the timing of each transfer.

Limits

The identity behind the receiving addresses is not visible on-chain. Whether funds are still held at the exchange is known only if the exchange answers a legally valid request.

Possible routes

Criminal complaint with technical annex; request through the competent authority to the exchange; complaint to the client's bank about card payments, where a dispute route exists.
